We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, brand name, industry category, and competitor names when you sign up. We also collect payment information processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details.

We collect usage data such as scan results, citation scores, and session information to operate the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the AEO Tracker service, send weekly digest emails and scan results, process payments via Stripe, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected].

Cookies

We use localStorage to keep you signed in between sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We query OpenAI, Perplexity, and Google on your behalf to run citation scans — your brand information is sent to these services as part of the queries.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, encrypted secrets management, and secure database connections. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
